General Oral and Poster Presentation Guidelines

General Application Guidelines

  1. The presenter of each submission, including all co-presenters, must be a member of the Society.
  2. If a submission includes co-presenters who are not members, the Secretariat will provide information regarding membership enrollment.
    Admission fee: 5,000 JPY
    Annual membership fee: Regular Member: 13,000 JPY / Associate Member: 5,000 JPY
  3. All presenters are required to comply with the Society’s regulations regarding Conflict of Interest (COI).
  4. Presentations must align with the Society’s objectives, focusing on advanced and precise diagnosis, treatment, and research using an operating microscope.
  5. Attendance at the conference is mandatory. Presenters are required to be on-site on the day of their presentation.

Guidelines for General Oral Presentations

  • Presentation time is 8 minutes, followed by 2 minutes for discussion.Please strictly adhere to the allotted time to ensure smooth session progress.
  • Please bring your own computer for the presentation.

Guidelines for Poster Presentations

  • Presenters will be provided with a ribbon.Please wear it on your chest during the conference.
  • During the designated poster discussion period, presenters are requested to stand by their posters and engage in the question-and-answer session.

Guidelines for Poster Presentations

  • The size of the display board is 90 cm (W) × 180 cm (H).
  • Please prepare your poster so that it fits within the display board.
  • Posters should clearly and concisely present essential items such as the purpose, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.The font size is flexible; however, please ensure that the content is legible from a distance of 2 meters.
  • Please bring your own pushpins/thumbtacks for mounting your poster.

Applications will be accepted untilJanuary 31, 2026 (Sat), 23:59.

Scheduled for February 16, 2026 (Mon).

Abstract Preparation Guidelines

  • Please prepare your abstract using the designated template.
  • Be sure to include the title, the presenting author, and the affiliations and names of all co-authors.
  • For case presentations, please indicate within the abstract that informed consent has been obtained from the patient.
  • Instructions for completing the abstract and naming the file are provided on the final page of the template.
  • Please submit the files in their original formats (doc and xlsx) without making any changes.
